VQEE is a Denmark-based Kenyan singer, she returned to her former home country for a couple of shows.
She describes her music as ‘Afropop’ with original Kenyan lyrics of various tribes.In Denmark, she has been dubbed ‘Kenya’s Cultural Ambassador’.
Her show was explosive, so was the reaction of the Kenyan audience.
The show was sizzling on the energy of an Afro-European immigrant, missing home still every day, but also melting the influence of her new homeland into her music. And the Kenyan crowd, ethnically mixed themselves could feel it…
